Hello, my fellow deviants!  Yes, as you can see I am, 1) posting a journal and 2) using a journal skin!  I was given a three-month premium by after entering in her Randomizer contest.  I was actually thinking of giving a ome-month to someone so that I may get one for myself, but then I saw the notification in my inbox that I had been granted the premium.  Thanks again, for the third or fourth time now, Ninjendo!  You can check out her page here and I suggest that you do so!  Her artwork is great!

Now onto the real-life stuff.  My freshman semester of college is now over and I absolutely ENJOYED every minute of it!  Well, not all of it.  In short, I'm moving down the hall next year and getting a new roommate.

But this is what I DID enjoy:

And now I'm back home for six weeks.  Classes weren't stressful, but you always need a break.  Because I have so much time now and this premium membership, I'll try to put it all to good use  Oh!  For my birthday, I got a new camera!  A Nikon D3100 in RED.  I only have the 18-55mm lens that it came with, but at least pictures will be a step up from what they once were.


In case I don't write another journal before the end of the year, I wish you and yours a very festive holiday season  Spend time with family as much as you can.  The items you receive for the holidays may be great and everything that you wanted, but family is irreplaceable.  I'm not saying this only because of the tragic incident that happened in Connecticut, but I'm saying this because I do care for my family.  Some of my family was affected by Superstorm Sandy back in October (on my birthday, actually) and I'm very glad that they're all safe.  It'll take some time for them to get entirely back on their feet, but at least they have a very supportive family
